|For The Love Of Junk|
April 13, 2019
I'm glad I let Kya guilt trip me into going to today's show.
I was so worried that with the tournament cancelled and the bad weather, and having to take the kids with me, that it was going to be a colossal failure.
I was wrong about all of it.
Even though there wasn't a ton of volleyball moms there shopping, we had steady traffic the whole day. We usually get a "lunch lull", when it gets quiet around noon before picking back up in the afternoon.
Even though the weather wasn't all spring-timey and warm, it wasn't as bad as it was yesterday and the day before. Some of the snow even melted and the front of the building was incredibly well salted.
Even though I didn't have a babysitter so the kids had to go with...they were amazingly well behaved. I had brought a huge box of kids crafts that I'd been saving from dding, and Alena brought her older daughter, so they actually sat and were busy for the whole 7 hours. We had so many compliments on how good they were.
I even made a couple hundred bucks, which was definitely needed considering I didn't work at all last week.
All in all, it was a good day and I'm glad I didn't bail.
I hate it when Kya is right.
Love until later,
