Checking in... August 11, 2020
Things are going as well as I expected for the first week of another attempt to lose this weight, have a healthier relationship with food, and be overall healthier.
I think my grazing isn't as bad as it was before last week, but it could be better. I'm not getting something every time I pass by/through the kitchen, so that's something to be proud of.
I'm drinking close to 60oz of water. I thought I was drinking more, but tracking it shows that I am drinking a little under that. So, I hope to improve on that.
I'm walking more (cooler at night) and trying to get my hourly steps on Fitbit during the day, but I have not been on the bike yet. I also haven't done any other form of exercise... yet. My excuse is that I hate feeling sweaty and try to avoid things that make me even sweatier, especially when it's really humid/hot out? So these goals are going to take a little longer to figure out.
Also, I weighed myself yesterday morning and appeared to have lost weight. Of course, my weight last week was during my monthly visitor, so not sure how much of this week's loss was actually fat loss. But, if you're curious/keeping track, my scale showed a loss of about 3 pounds.
So, my goals this week are more of the same...
-Continue to cut back on grazing (eating outside of planned "meals").
-Drink at least 60oz of water a day.
-Continue walking 1-3 miles a day (weather permitting).
-Find "off the floor" exercises to do that I will stick with.
And I will hopefully be back later in the week to reflect on this week.
