To lose 1%

I was exploring SP again today. In one of my "Teams", there's a forum that's promoting losing weight 1% at a time and hitting milestones with every 5% lost. So I thought, why not give it a try. There is no date setting, but I am hoping to lose at least a quarter (25%) of my starting weight before 2016.

So, for example, my starting weight might be 265. My goal weight is around 150.

Here is a few things I'm hoping to celebrate…

1% = 262.4 = Breaking free of the same 5 pound gain/loss I've been stuck at all year.
5% = 251.8 = The lowest since before the beginning of the year, even if I don't reach it this year.
10% = 238.6 = Not even going to count how long it's been since I've been this low.
25% = 198.8 = I'll be under 200.

I thought of giving myself a small reward for every 1% of my starting weight I lose, a medium reward for every 5%, a big reward for every 10%, and maybe a special reward for losing 25% of my starting weight. Problem is, I've never been good at rewarding myself (with something other than food). I've tried looking for ideas, but nothing is jumping out at me. I'll need to think about it.
