So, how did I do?
I got a Raspberry Lime Seltzer Water instead of a Diet Dr. Pepper. I think I'll get used to it and may eventually get just plain seltzer water. Surprisingly, this was easier than I thought. I've actually been excited to get one all day. So far so good.
I've avoided added sugar as a first ingredient, but I've had foods where added sugar was the second ingredient. Hopefully in another day or two, those foods will be gone. I did get some dark chocolate to eat that I'll try to limit myself to one square a day.
Unfortunately, I haven't moved much since early afternoon. I had a short walk early this evening, but I haven't been getting up to move every hour. I think I might need a timer to alert me when to get up and move around for a few minutes.
So, two out of three isn't bad for the first day. Hopefully the rest of the week will be better.
