It's been a week since I last posted. I haven't really started yet, but I did check the scale. No change. I guess that's good in the sense that I haven't gained any weight, but also means that I probably won't lose those 3 pounds before October (a goal I set on September 16th).
I am 10 pounds away from the weight I was at on January 3, 2010 (and about 20 pounds heavier than I was at the beginning of this year). So, my new weight loss goal is to lose at least 10 pounds before the end of the year. I am hoping that, with the goal-line being 14 weeks away, it'll be easier to reach.
Currently I'm: 250(09/26/13)
First Goal: 240(01/02/14)
So, I have 14 weeks to lose 10 pounds. How am I going to do it if I don't feel 100% ready yet?

With food, I hope to gain control over my overeating and emotional/boredom eating. I hope to achieve this by…
-Tracking what, when and why I eat…and just being aware of the food I eat. No calorie counting till the new year.
-Thinking before I eat and distracting myself if I want to eat when I'm not hungry.
I also want to be more active than I am now. I hope to achieve this by…
-Going for a walk every day. If the weather's bad, force myself to walk indoors.
-Finding other activities that I can love and will stick with for more than a week.
I hope to update this journal at least once a week.
