Hello World. First post for me.
It is Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada, and I have a lot to be thankful for. I’ve been able to weather the pandemic fairly well. It has opened my eyes to the fact that I CAN control my life. I can make decisions that are good for my mental and physical wellbeing. All the details will become apparent to the reader as I post here.
The biggest thing today is that my blood sugar is down to 5.4% the lowest reading I’ve had since being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Yesterday was difficult for me, as food triggers were everywhere at the socially distanced family gathering. I was able to resist the temptations and stick to my program. No sugar, no flour, no caffeine.
I wonder what today’s triggers may hold?
