|2 months on the books|
November 21, 2020
15 inches gone in month 2 bringing the total inches lost to 28.75. Even though I can’t see the difference (thank you, body dysmorphia) I can see by the inches that I’m losing quite a bit in my mid-section. That is AWESOME because that’s where I need it the most. I’m definitely not blessed with that hourglass figure. I’m built more like an ice cream cone Oh well… at least I’m making progress.
Total weight loss for month 2 is 11.5 pounds bringing the loss since surgery to 32.9 pounds. I’m sure some people lose faster and I’m sure some people lose slower. I see all kinds of numbers in my support groups. The bottom line is, I’m happy with this progress.
How am I feeling? Today I’m exhausted. I was up late watching The Crown and browsing on ebay… then I woke up at 6:30 this morning and could not go back to sleep . Then after running some errands, we hung more Christmas lights in the back yard so I can see them from the couch so now I’m just flopped on the couch resting.
Mentally/emotionally – I’m feeling pretty proud of my progress so far. I definitely feel a change in how I’m able to move more easily (up and down the ladder today) and my energy level is good. These are all outward signs of progress… and this makes me proud.
