I saunter along the beach as far as Poseidon’s bar. Jack is meeting me there for our date night. He loves dancing. I had been so busy all week and am excited to meet him in a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Striding into the dusky restaurant I enjoy the cool air on my face. The music plays at a low level, and I scan the room until I see my handsome fellow waiting at a small table. He smiles and waves at me.

Jack stands up, looking racy in his dark blue jeans and white silk shirt. He hugs me, lifting me off the ground. “I’ve missed you like crazy, Em.”

I lean towards him and kiss his lips, tasting the wine he is drinking. “I’m sorry. I’ve been so busy, but tonight I am all yours, gorgeous.” I pull my chair, so we are sitting close together.

“Hungry?” Jack asks. “May I order for you?”

Smiling, I give him the “I can take care of myself” expression.

He puts his arm around my shoulder. "I appreciate you’re an independent woman and that’s what I treasure about you. But I also want to be the one to take care of you.”

After dinner, we move to the dance floor. I close my eyes and lean into his hard body. “Lady in Red” is playing. I love this song and Jack sings along, looking at me as he repeats the words. He squeezes his hands on my waist, so I feel their firmness on my smooth skin. We dance, enjoying the feel of holding each other, and I wish we could live in this moment forever.

I glance at him with a soft-hearted smile

“You’re staring at me.” He smiles, his moist mouth looking so kissable.

“Admiring the view.” I lick my lips. “I may look at you.”

Jack lets out a short laugh. “Not if you want to avoid a reaction.”

“Maybe that’s the goal.”

I tilt my head backwards and study his face. His eyes are dark pools, his lips a sensual delight. I reach out to stroke his chest.

“Are you trying to seduce me?” His hands move to my hips.

“I don’t know.” I put my finger on the line on his chin. “What if I am?”

“I might like it too much.” His words echo in my ear.

I laugh. “Isn’t that the point?”
