|"...you always fear what you don't understand"|
June 10, 2021
Over 11 years ago my daughter found a puppy in an empty car park. Someone had left her there like a discarded wrapper. She was less than 6 weeks old. When she was put down to walk, she made us cry. The tendons in her front legs did not grow. Thinking of how sad it was watching her trying to walk still wrenches my heart.
We took her to the vet and the choice was to send her over the rainbow bridge or a costly operation. Friends and family are so wonderful. We called her Buckles and she has brought more than her fair share of joy and happiness into our lives.
Thinking my dog has a cold, I asked hubby to take her to the vet. And the news was not good. She has cancer in her jaw. Needless to say, she is now being spoiled rotten and is enjoying every bit of the attention.
I am not going to worry about tomorrow but just live for today. There is no point in thinking about something which is not in our hands.
"Life is about learning to cherish every moment granted to us, especially the sorrowful or ordinary ones because each moment that passes us by holds eternal weight."
